Veya is intentionally less conventional. C and F form a perfect fourth, creating an open starting point. B sits as a major seventh above C, while the relationship between F and B creates a tritone.

That combination gives Veya both spaciousness and tension. Rather than immediately resolving into the familiarity of major or minor harmony, the notes leave more room for ambiguity. Played slowly, they can create an interesting contrast to more consonant instruments in a wider setup.

Veya carries the same musical relationship as our clear Kala set but through the stronger physical voice and fourth-octave register of frosted quartz.

For practitioners wanting something outside the familiar major/minor palette, it is one of our most distinctive combinations.

TUNING

Our bowls are available in two tunings: 440 Hz and 432 Hz.

  • 440 Hz is the standard tuning in Western music, offering a clear, bright tone that aligns easily with other instruments and musical structures. Its precise frequency relationships make it ideal for harmonic layering and group sound work.

  • 432 Hz, slightly lower in pitch, is favored by many for its warmer, more organic resonance. Some musicians and healers consider it more aligned with natural vibrations, including the Earth’s resonance and the body’s energy field. It’s often used in meditative or restorative sessions for its gentle, expansive quality.
