SEPTEMBER 18.09. - 20.09 │ 2026advanced Sound Healing Training Zurich
In Depth │ advanced Sound Practitioner Training
YACEP (50 Hr) │ Switzerland
Learn the language of soundThis is our advanced training and it assumes you have foundations already. You already know how to hold a beautiful session. What usually stays unfinished after a foundation training is the fine detail.
Across the three days we work on your voice — breath, toning, and the alankaras, the Indian melodic patterns used to train accuracy and range. We go deeper into harmony and rhythm, refine your playing & run dedicated labs on cueing and somatic cueing. We look honestly at where sound work goes wrong and what to do about it. And we work on the business side: the language you use, what you offer, and a Presence Deck you can send to studios and venues.
New to sound? Start with Alchemy of Sound Level 1 — our four-day foundation training, also held at Soulcity Zurich.
❋ LISTENING AND VOICERefined listening and nada yoga, breath work, vocal toning, and the alankaras — the Indian melodic patterns used to build accuracy and range.
❋ music and instrumentsDevelop a foundation in music theory and learn the principles that bring depth, movement, and coherence to your sound experiences.
❋ FACILITATIONCueing and somatic cueing labs, 1:1 and group settings, working with your own blocks, and what to do when sound goes wrong.
❋ professional practicePositioning, offer language, being paid for this work, and building a Presence Deck you can send to studios, venues and collaborators.
Learn with us in Zurich
Our Zurich trainings take place at Soulcity Zurich, a beautiful studio in the heart of the city that has become home to our Swiss community.
Level 2 is held across three consecutive days, so the group stays in one continuous thread rather than picking the work back up after a gap.
Over the years, students from Switzerland and across Europe have joined us here. Throughout the training, you'll have access to a wide variety of instruments, we bring the full collection, so nothing is missing. We'd also encourage you to bring your own instruments — Level 2 is about refinement and that work lands best on the set you'll be playing once you're home.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
Yes. While sound healing is generally safe and beneficial, there are certain conditions that may require extra care or medical advice before participating. These may include:
Recent surgeries (especially within the last 3–4 weeks)
Serious cardiovascular conditions (e.g. pacemaker use)
Severe or unregulated mental health conditions
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Pregnancy (especially in the first trimester)
Sound sensitivity or auditory conditions (e.g. tinnitus, hyperacusis)
If any of the above apply to you, please contact us before enrolling so we can guide you appropriately and ensure the training is safe and supportive for your unique situation.
-
Level 2 builds directly on the foundations established in our Level 1 Alchemy of Sound training. Completion of Level 1 with us is therefore required.
If you have completed a comparable foundational training elsewhere, a personal call with us is required prior to registration. This ensures that you have the necessary grounding in music theory, facilitation basics, and nervous system awareness to fully benefit from the advanced material.
Level 2 is designed as continued education, not an introduction.
-
Yes. Many participants join Level 2 while already practicing professionally.
This training is designed to refine your technique, deepen your theoretical understanding, strengthen facilitation skills, and elevate your professional clarity. It is particularly valuable if you feel ready to move from intuitive facilitation toward more intentional, structured, and advanced work.
-
Level 2 is intentionally held in a smaller group setting to ensure depth, individual attention, and meaningful feedback.
We keep the group size limited to 8 - 10 perticipants, so that each participant has space to practice, receive personalized guidance, and refine their facilitation skills in a focused and supportive environment.
This structure allows for a high level of interaction, mentoring, and hands-on experience essential for advanced training and professional development.
-
While we provide instruments during the training, we strongly recommend bringing your own set, especially your primary instruments.
Level 2 focuses on refinement, precision, and strengthening your personal relationship with your instruments. Working directly with your own set allows you to deepen familiarity, responsiveness, and tonal awareness in a much more personal way.
If you’re unsure about your current setup or are considering upgrading or purchasing a set, we’re happy to offer a consultation to support you in choosing instruments aligned with your practice.
You can find curated Sets of Singing Bowls in our Online Shop. As A student you have a discounted price.
-
Yes. None of it is about performance or having a good voice. It's technical — breath support, range, accuracy — and it starts wherever you start. The alankaras are practice patterns, not songs.
-
Cancellations or changes can be made four weeks before the course starts. Please note that the downpayment of 400.- is non-refundable.
If you cancel less than four weeks before the course begins, the full course fee is due, and no refunds or date changes will be possible — for any reason, including medical issues, emergencies, or personal circumstances. This policy applies equally to all participants to ensure fairness and to support the planning and integrity of our offerings.
By completing your payment, you agree to the general terms and conditions of the course.
We strongly recommend that you arrange cancellation insurance, in case you're unable to attend or complete the training.
-
Not at all. The deck describes where you actually are — a recent graduate writes that they've completed Level 1 and facilitated their first sessions. That's a truthful, usable document. It's inflated claims that damage a young practice, not modest ones.
-
A structured 30-hour practice you take on after the training, with a clear daily outline covering guided vocal work, deep listening and your own sound practice. You'll receive the full framework on the final day.
-
Your spot will be confirmed once the downpayment has been successfully completed.
-
Yes, you will receive a certification of participation. This course is Yoga Alliance certified and can be added to your account.

Jonny has spent the past decade teaching yoga across retreats, festivals, and trainings worldwide. Raised in a musical family, he felt early on how sound can soothe, awaken, and mend. But the industry’s ego and burnout pulled him away from that truth. An injury and the disorientation that followed brought him to yoga in 2009. As his body recovered, he felt something larger recalibrate: breath steadying mind, presence softening the edges of life. He knew he wanted to share that pathway with others.
Since then, Jonny has worked with many students and learned what the body keeps teaching: healing is personal. He brings clear anatomical understanding, but values curiosity over perfection, inviting people to explore, adapt, and trust their own pace. His gift is creating safe, unpressured rooms where emotions can move and expression feels welcome.
Music never left; it matured. Today Jonny weaves years of sonic training into sound healing journeys and facilitator trainings, offering sound not as performance but as medicine: predictable, grounded, and deeply human. With reverence for lineage and a light touch, he encourages a life lived bravely and kindly: meet fear with breath, forgive often, love without keeping score.

Natalija is a yoga teacher (RYT+500) and certified sound practitioner whose work has always been guided by healing and human connection. Before teaching full-time, she spent years in social work, earning a Master’s degree and witnessing, up close, the resilience and tenderness of the human heart. Yoga arrived as devotion rather than hobby; it gave language to what she’d felt all along: practice can change how we relate and live.
After years of studying and teaching yoga, somatics opened a new chapter. It asked a different kind of question: not How does the pose look? but What do you feel? In many traditional classrooms, the space to truly sense: slowly, curiously, without performance can be missed. Natalija’s work leans intentionally shifted toward that space. She teaches people to meet sensation as information, to listen for the small yes/no in the body, and to let awareness, not ambition set the pace. Through movement & sound, she helps students attune to their inner landscape.
Music has always been the heartbeat of Natalija’s life. Drawn to the healing potential of sound, she studied instruments and ancient modalities in India alongside their modern applications. Crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, harmonium, voice each became a way of offering medicine. Together with Jonny, she composes and plays improvised soundscapes, creating grounded, spacious fields where participants can truly receive.
What continues to inspire her is the simple courage people bring to practice, showing up as they are, again and again.
