YACEP (20 Hr)
Advanced Sound Practitioner Training
Go deeper.
Beyond technique.
Beyond what you already know.
Sound in Depth (Level 2) is a 3-day, 20-hour (YACEP) advanced immersion for practitioners who feel ready to refine their craft and embody their leadership as sound facilitators.
This training is designed for those who have completed our Alchemy of Sound – Level 1 training. If you have trained elsewhere and feel called to join, we invite you to reach out to ensure alignment.
This immersion is held in an intimate group and expands your technical precision, musical intelligence, nervous-system literacy, and professional presence. You will not simply learn more: you will refine, clarify, and deepen what is already alive in you.
This is the shift
from playing to composing,
from guiding to leading,
from facilitating to embodying.
Is Sound in Depth Calling You?
Have you already begun walking the path of sound and feel that something in you wants to go further?
Do you sense that your playing could become cleaner, more precise, more intentional?
Are you ready to refine and incorporate your voice: not just use it, but embody it with confidence and clarity?
Are you ready to deepen your musicality and shape emotional and energetic landscapes?
Do you long to create sound journeys that feel coherent, spacious and hold presence throughout?
Are you ready to share your work more confidently with structure, integrity, and aligned communication?

The Building Blocks
-
Voice & Authentic Expression
Your voice is your most personal instrument.
Your voice is the most immediate and personal instrument available to you as a sound practitioner. In this module we explore the voice not only as a channel of expression, but as a refined tool within sound facilitation. Through structured vocal practices you will work with breath support, vocal resonance, pitch stability, and tonal control.
Equally important is the process of freeing the voice from habitual restrictions. Many practitioners carry subtle tensions, self-consciousness, or internal narratives that limit their vocal expression. Through gentle exploration and practice, this training creates space to soften those barriers and allow the voice to emerge with greater authenticity and confidence.
You will also learn how to integrate the voice skillfully alongside instruments such as crystal singing bowls and other instruments like Shruti Box and Harmonium, using the voice to guide transitions and support the emotional arc of a session.
-
Applied Music Theory
Advanced Music Theory for Living Sound
This module offers a deeper exploration of music theory and its practical application within sound work. We examine harmonic relationships, scales, intervals, and chord structures, and how these elements shape the emotional and energetic quality of a sound journey.
You will learn how to design more intentional and coherent sound experiences by understanding how tones interact, how harmonic layering influences perception, and how musical structure supports the overall flow of a session.
Through practical exercises, we explore techniques for blending multiple instruments, creating balanced tonal combinations, and structuring sound journeys with greater clarity and direction. Rather than replacing intuition, this musical understanding supports it — giving you the tools to design sound experiences with greater precision, coherence, and confidence.
-
Sound & Nervous System Regulation
Sound meets regulation
In this module we deepen the understanding even more of how sound interacts with the nervous system and how this knowledge can inform your facilitation practice. Building on a polyvagal-informed framework, we explore how different elements influence states of activation, relaxation, and integration.
We also focus on developing the sensitivity required to observe and respond to subtle cues within participants. This includes recognizing signs of activation, overwhelm, or deep relaxation in both group and one-to-one settings, and adjusting your playing, pacing, and use of silence accordingly.
Practical guidance is given on how to structure sound journeys in a way that supports regulation rather than overstimulation. You will strengthen your ability to guide sound experiences with greater awareness, responsibility, and attunement to the nervous systems of the people you are working with.
-
Instrument Lab
Instrument Practice & Advanced Playing Techniques
This module offers extended hands-on time to refine your technical skills and deepen your relationship with your instruments. Working primarily with crystal singing bowls alongside a range of complementary instruments, we focus on developing greater precision, sensitivity, and control in your playing. We also explore how different instruments interact within a sound journey.
Through guided exercises you will practice listening for harmonic relationships, layering sounds intentionally, and creating balance between instruments so that each voice in the soundscape has its place. A key aspect of this module is strengthening the relationship with your personal instrument set. By spending extended time practicing with focused feedback, you will refine your sensitivity to the instruments’ response and develop a playing style that feels more grounded, precise, and intentional.
By the end of this module, your playing becomes cleaner, more confident, and more responsive to the needs of the space and the people you are guiding.
-
Embodied Facilitation
Move beyond technique to embodied facilitation
This module moves beyond technical skill, focusing on how to fully embody your role as a facilitator. You will deepen your capacity to guide participants with clarity, intention, and sensitivity. We explore different guidance techniques, including how to read group and individual dynamics, modulate energy and intensity, and respond ethically to the evolving needs of participants. Emphasis is placed on professional boundaries, ethical space holding, and maintaining presence under varied circumstances.
A unique aspect of this training is reflection on your own challenges and obstacles. Together, we use these experiences as opportunities to refine your approach, overcome blocks, and strengthen your facilitator presence.
Throughout the module, you will receive structured feedback from peers as well as personalized 1:1 coaching, allowing you to integrate these insights directly into your practice and develop a more grounded, confident, and responsive facilitation style.
-
Conscious Business
Sharing Your Work with Clarity and Integrity
Sound is not only a profound medium for healing it is also a professional discipline that benefits from structure, clarity, and intentionality. In this module, we focus on translating your expertise and practice into a sustainable, ethical, and confident professional presence.
You will explore strategies for aligned marketing, clear communication, and professional presentation, learning how to articulate your offerings with integrity and confidence.
We also work on communicating your unique voice in the field, ensuring that your intention and personal style are expressed clearly and authentically. By the end of this module, you will have practical tools and strategies to share your work in a way that feels professional and aligned with your values.

Recent surgeries (especially within the last 3–4 weeks)
Serious cardiovascular conditions (e.g. pacemaker use)
Severe or unregulated mental health conditions
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Pregnancy (especially in the first trimester)

Level 2 builds directly on the foundations established in our Level 1 Alchemy of Sound training. Completion of Level 1 with us is therefore required.
If you have completed a comparable foundational training elsewhere, a personal call with us is required prior to registration. This ensures that you have the necessary grounding in music theory, facilitation basics, and nervous system awareness to fully benefit from the advanced material.
Level 2 is designed as continued education, not an introduction.
-
Yes. Many participants join Level 2 while already practicing professionally.
This training is designed to refine your technique, deepen your theoretical understanding, strengthen facilitation skills, and elevate your professional clarity. It is particularly valuable if you feel ready to move from intuitive facilitation toward more intentional, structured, and advanced work.
-
Level 2 is intentionally held in a smaller group setting to ensure depth, individual attention, and meaningful feedback.
We keep the group size limited to 8 - 10 perticipants, so that each participant has space to practice, receive personalized guidance, and refine their facilitation skills in a focused and supportive environment.
This structure allows for a high level of interaction, mentoring, and hands-on experience essential for advanced training and professional development.
-
While we provide instruments during the training, we strongly recommend bringing your own set, especially your primary instruments.
Level 2 focuses on refinement, precision, and strengthening your personal relationship with your instruments. Working directly with your own set allows you to deepen familiarity, responsiveness, and tonal awareness in a much more personal way.
If you’re unsure about your current setup or are considering upgrading or purchasing a set, we’re happy to offer a consultation to support you in choosing instruments aligned with your practice.
You can find curated Sets of Singing Bowls in our Online Shop. As A student you have a discounted price.

Jonny has spent the past decade teaching yoga across retreats, festivals, and trainings worldwide. Raised in a musical family, he felt early on how sound can soothe, awaken, and mend. But the industry’s ego and burnout pulled him away from that truth. An injury and the disorientation that followed brought him to yoga in 2009. As his body recovered, he felt something larger recalibrate: breath steadying mind, presence softening the edges of life. He knew he wanted to share that pathway with others.
Since then, Jonny has worked with many students and learned what the body keeps teaching: healing is personal. He brings clear anatomical understanding, but values curiosity over perfection, inviting people to explore, adapt, and trust their own pace. His gift is creating safe, unpressured rooms where emotions can move and expression feels welcome.
Music never left; it matured. Today Jonny weaves years of sonic training into sound healing journeys and facilitator trainings, offering sound not as performance but as medicine: predictable, grounded, and deeply human. With reverence for lineage and a light touch, he encourages a life lived bravely and kindly: meet fear with breath, forgive often, love without keeping score.

Natalija is a yoga teacher (RYT+500) and certified sound practitioner whose work has always been guided by healing and human connection. Before teaching full-time, she spent years in social work, earning a Master’s degree and witnessing, up close, the resilience and tenderness of the human heart. Yoga arrived as devotion rather than hobby; it gave language to what she’d felt all along: practice can change how we relate and live.
After years of studying and teaching yoga, somatics opened a new chapter. It asked a different kind of question: not How does the pose look? but What do you feel? In many traditional classrooms, the space to truly sense: slowly, curiously, without performance can be missed. Natalija’s work leans intentionally shifted toward that space. She teaches people to meet sensation as information, to listen for the small yes/no in the body, and to let awareness, not ambition set the pace. Through movement & sound, she helps students attune to their inner landscape.
Music has always been the heartbeat of Natalija’s life. Drawn to the healing potential of sound, she studied instruments and ancient modalities in India alongside their modern applications. Crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, harmonium, voice each became a way of offering medicine. Together with Jonny, she composes and plays improvised soundscapes, creating grounded, spacious fields where participants can truly receive.
What continues to inspire her is the simple courage people bring to practice, showing up as they are, again and again.
