The instruments in this collection are ones we have spent time with, explored & come to appreciate through our own practice. Each has its own character, its own voice & its own possibilities.
Whether you’re just beginning your journey with sound or have been working with instruments for years, we hope this collection invites you to stay curious, to experiment & to discover what becomes possible when you listen a little more closely.
Every bowl has its own tone, texture & resonance. No two are quite alike. When bringing them together into a set, we pay close attention to how they sound in relationship to one another. How their tones meet, how they complement each other & how they resonate together.
Because a beautiful instrument is one thing. A collection of instruments that truly works together is another.
Our relationship with sound has grown through years of practice, study, teaching & perhaps most importantly, listening.
As sound practitioners & educators, we know how much the quality of an instrument matters. Not only how it sounds, but how it feels to play, how it responds to touch & how it allows us to explore sound more deeply.
When our students began asking where they could find instruments of their own, we wanted to offer something we genuinely trusted. Instruments we would choose for ourselves, use in our sessions & feel confident recommending to others.
That search eventually took us to the Himalayas.
We spent time exploring different workshops, meeting craftspeople & learning more about the traditions behind Himalayan singing bowls. Along the way, we connected with a family-run workshop where the knowledge of making singing bowls has been passed down through generations.
Today, we work with them to bring hand-hammered Himalayan bowls into our collection.
Each bowl is individually selected & listened to before it becomes part of a set. We pay attention to its fundamental tone, overtones, sustain & how it resonates alongside the other bowls.
We believe these details matter. They shape not only the sound of an instrument, but the relationship we develop with it over time.
Our crystal singing bowls are made in collaboration with a specialist manufacturer in Shanghai, using 99.9% pure quartz. Unlike so-called alchemy bowls, our bowls are not infused with additional minerals, gemstones or precious metals. We believe in being transparent about the materials & origins of our instruments, allowing their sound, quality & craftsmanship to speak for themselves.
Our collection offers a range of colours, finishes & note combinations, allowing you to create a set that reflects your own musical interests & the way you work with sound.
You can choose one of our carefully composed sets & customise the colour and finish of each bowl, or create your own set by selecting the notes you wish to bring together.
Each set is made to order, with attention to the combination of tones, their harmonic relationships & how the bowls can be played together.
Our crystal singing bowls are available in both 432 Hz & 440 Hz tuning.
is an alternative tuning that sits slightly lower in pitch than the modern standard. Some practitioners prefer its softer, lower sound & the way it feels in their own practice.
is the internationally recognised standard reference pitch, making it particularly practical when playing alongside other instruments or musicians using the same tuning.
Neither is inherently more healing or more powerful than the other. What matters is how you experience the sound, the instruments you wish to play together & the musical possibilities you want to explore.
We don’t keep shelves full of ready-made crystal singing bowls.
Each set begins with your order. From the combination of notes to the colours & finishes you choose, your bowls are made specifically for you.
It takes a little more time, but we value this approach. It allows us to offer a collection that is considered rather than mass-produced, with attention given to the instruments that will eventually find their way into your hands.
And once they do, the exploration is yours.

3 questionsWhat is the difference between crystal bowls and Himalayan (metal) bowls?
Crystal bowls are made from 99.9% pure quartz; coloured bowls get their colour from pigments. Their sound is very clear, luminous and focused, with long, singing overtones.
Himalayan bowls are traditionally hand-hammered from bronze, a mix of copper and tin. Their sound is earthy and complex, with many layered overtones and a more “ancient” feel.
Both can be used for meditation, sound baths, yoga, therapy and personal practice – it’s mainly a question of taste, sensitivity and how you like to work with sound.
Are your bowls tuned to specific notes?
Crystal bowls: yes. Each bowl is tuned to a specific note (e.g. C, D, F…). Sets are curated so that the notes form a harmonious scale or chord structure.
Himalayan bowls: many are tuned to clear notes, but because they are hand-hammered, they often contain several overtones. We select them so that they blend musically when played together, even if they’re not “laboratory perfect”.
How do you curate your sets?
For both crystal and Himalayan sets we consider:
- Musical harmony (intervals, chords, overall “mood” of the set)
- Dynamic range (some bowls more grounding, some more bright/expansive)
- Practicality for facilitators (usable for groups, individual work, yoga, etc.)
- How the colours or finishes sit together
Crystal bowls are made to the exact notes and pitch of the set. Himalayan bowls are selected by hand at the workshop, and we check every one through video, recordings and tuning apps before it ships.

01Processing Time & Shipping
Processing Time
Good things take time. We work with specialist makers, and every order is handled with care.
We sort and pass out all orders within the first 36 hours.
Our producers begin processing your order within 2–3 days (excluding holidays):
- Himalayan bowls: each bowl is hand-selected at the workshop & we check its tuning through video & recordings. If a note isn’t in stock, we contact you before going ahead.
- Crystal bowls: each one is made from scratch. Production usually takes up to 2 weeks, depending on the set.
- Estimated delivery time: Please allow approximately 4 weeks for your order to arrive.
- Sometimes faster: In some cases, orders arrive earlier after 3 weeks, but we ask you to use 4 weeks as a guideline.
- Maximum timeframe: 5 weeks is generally the longest it takes for orders to be delivered under normal conditions.
- Delays: Very occasionally, delays can occur due to customs, holidays, or courier issues that are outside of our control. We appreciate your patience and understanding if this happens.
Before shipping, we personally check the intervals of each set to ensure harmony. Once your set is ready, it is shipped immediately, and you will be notified as soon as the tracking number becomes available.
Shipping Methods & Rates

- Delivery times vary depending on destination country.
- Shipping typically takes 7–10 days, but may range up to 2 weeks depending on customs and local postal services.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs clearance. We don’t issue refunds for unexpected delays.
Shipping Issues
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Import duties & taxes
prices shown in our shop do not include import duties, customs charges, or local taxes.
Once a parcel leaves the country of origin, it may be subject to import duties, customs clearance fees, or handling charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are not something we control, calculate, or receive.
As the importer of record, you are responsible for paying any such charges. they are separate from the price you paid us and from any shipping costs, and they are typically collected by the carrier before delivery.
If a parcel is refused or returned because import charges were not paid, any return shipping costs and losses will be deducted from your refund.
02Payment
We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna, processed securely through Stripe. Klarna decides for each purchase whether it can be offered, depending on your country & the order amount. When an order falls outside its limits, Klarna doesn’t appear at checkout. In the UK, for example, its instalment plans only cover smaller amounts. Payment is taken when you place your order, and production begins once it is received. Soulravel students pay by invoice within three working days; their order goes into production once the invoice is paid.

04Return & Exchange
We want you to be completely happy with your order! If your item arrives damaged or if there’s an issue with what you received (such as a wrong or missing item), please let us know within 7 days of delivery. We’ll be happy to send a replacement at no additional cost.
Because we’re a small business and each item is made or packed with care, we’re not able to offer returns or exchanges for any other reasons.

05Warranty & Product Care
Our products are crafted with care and attention to detail, ensuring high quality. If any item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately for assistance. We offer a limited warranty on all products for up to 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship but does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse.
For the care of your products, especially instruments like singing bowls, we recommend handling them gently, cleaning them according to our care instructions, and keeping them in a safe environment to maintain their resonance and longevity.
