Alchemy of Sound

Sound Practitioner Training — YACEP (30 Hr)

Become a Sound Facilitator

What is sound, truly? More than vibration, more than frequency.

Sound is the bridge between the seen and the unseen, a force that shapes matter and moves emotion. When we begin to understand the physics and essence of sound, we start to perceive its profound influence on the body, mind, and spirit.

The Alchemy of Sound Training is an immersive 4-day journey that weaves together the theory, history, and practical application of sound healing. You’ll explore how sound travels through form and consciousness, how it affects the nervous system, and how ancient and modern practices converge in this timeless art. This training blends scientific understanding with direct experience, allowing you not only to study sound but to feel and embody it.

For whom is this Training?

Whether you’re a yoga teacher wishing to integrate sound into your practice, a healing practitioner seeking deeper resonance in your work, a musician or therapist exploring new modalities, or simply a curious soul drawn to sound, this training offers a grounded, heart-centered foundation. Together, we’ll explore the nature of sound, not only as a tool for healing, but as a way of listening, living, and being.

  • Are you curious to bring instruments into your yoga classes, retreats, or ceremonies?

  • Do you want to understand how sound influences the nervous system and emotional balance?

  • Or simply wish to experience your own body as an instrument; to listen, feel, and express through sound?

the Art of Sound Healing

Over four immersive days, you will be guided through a journey into the living art of sound, from stillness into resonance, from deep listening into confident facilitation.

You’ll study music theory as the language of vibration, guided by experienced musicians who reveal how intervals, harmonics, and rhythm shape emotion, energy, and the subtle architecture of sound. This understanding allows you to create intentional, harmonious soundscapes that balance structure and intuition, grounding and expansion.

You’ll also explore the art and responsibility of holding space, how to meet each moment with presence, empathy, and awareness. Through a trauma-informed lens, you’ll learn to recognize how sound interacts with the nervous system, guiding others safely through emotional release and transformation. Practice sessions will help you facilitate group and individual sound experiences with integrity and sensitivity.

Throughout the training, you’ll work hands-on with a diverse array of instruments — from Himalayan and Crystal bowls to gongs, chimes, tuning forks, harmonium, drums, flutes and many other instruments. Each has its own voice, texture, and medicine, and through exploration and play you’ll learn to weave their tones into coherent, immersive sound journeys. Alongside these instruments, we’ll also explore the most personal and powerful instrument of all — our voice. Through vocal activations and toning, you’ll uncover how voice serves as both guide and bridge connecting breath, body, and emotion in authentic expression.

As the body is the first instrument, we integrate somatic movement and energetic practices to deepen awareness and attunement. You’ll learn to listen not only with your ears but through your whole being, refining presence, intuition, and sensitivity to vibration.

Supported by a comprehensive 90-page manual, you’ll leave with both the theoretical understanding and embodied experience needed to create transformative sound journeys rooted in science, guided by spirit, and expressed through your own authentic resonance.

the Journey begins

Our Sound Healing Training is held monthly in Switzerland or Sri Lanka to meet you where you are and to guide you deeper into the art of sound as presence.

Over four days, you will be immersed in an atmosphere of learning, reflection, and embodiment, surrounded by nature, held in community, and supported by experienced facilitators.

The journey is not only about gaining knowledge but about remembering how to listen with your whole being, to sense harmony within yourself and share it with others.

If you feel the call to work with sound, to hold space for healing, transformation, and stillness, this training offers both the science and the soul of the practice. Step into resonance. Step into the sound.

About your facilitators

Born from a shared vision of holistic well-being and personal growth, the founders of Soulravel, Jonny and Natalija have united their passions to create a sanctuary for like-minded souls. With backgrounds rooted in yoga, sound healing, and conscious community-building, they bring together diverse practices and experiences to offer transformative retreats, workshops, and events.

  • Co-Founder Soulravel

Jonny has spent the past decade teaching yoga across retreats, festivals, and trainings worldwide. Raised in a musical family, he felt early on how sound can soothe, awaken, and mend. But the industry’s ego and burnout pulled him away from that truth. An injury and the disorientation that followed brought him to yoga in 2009. As his body recovered, he felt something larger recalibrate: breath steadying mind, presence softening the edges of life. He knew he wanted to share that pathway with others.

Since then, Jonny has worked with many students and learned what the body keeps teaching: healing is personal. He brings clear anatomical understanding, but values curiosity over perfection, inviting people to explore, adapt, and trust their own pace. His gift is creating safe, unpressured rooms where emotions can move and expression feels welcome.

Music never left; it matured. Today Jonny weaves years of sonic training into sound healing journeys and facilitator trainings, offering sound not as performance but as medicine: predictable, grounded, and deeply human. With reverence for lineage and a light touch, he encourages a life lived bravely and kindly: meet fear with breath, forgive often, love without keeping score.

Natalija is a yoga teacher (RYT+500) and certified sound practitioner whose work has always been guided by healing and human connection. Before teaching full-time, she spent years in social work, earning a Master’s degree and witnessing, up close, the resilience and tenderness of the human heart. Yoga arrived as devotion rather than hobby; it gave language to what she’d felt all along: practice can change how we relate and live.

After years of studying and teaching yoga, somatics opened a new chapter. It asked a different kind of question: not How does the pose look? but What do you feel? In many traditional classrooms, the space to truly sense: slowly, curiously, without performance can be missed. Natalija’s work leans intentionally shifted toward that space. She teaches people to meet sensation as information, to listen for the small yes/no in the body, and to let awareness, not ambition set the pace. Through movement & sound, she helps students attune to their inner landscape.

Music has always been the heartbeat of Natalija’s life. Drawn to the healing potential of sound, she studied instruments and ancient modalities in India alongside their modern applications. Crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, harmonium, voice each became a way of offering medicine. Together with Jonny, she composes and plays improvised soundscapes, creating grounded, spacious fields where participants can truly receive.

What continues to inspire her is the simple courage people bring to practice, showing up as they are, again and again.
