Lyra begins with the C major triad and extends it with B to form C major seven. C, E and G provide a familiar harmonic centre. B sits only a semitone beneath the octave C, introducing the unresolved openness characteristic of a major seventh chord.

This means Lyra can move between two identities. Use C–E–G alone and the sound remains direct and stable. Introduce B and the harmony becomes noticeably more spacious.

For facilitators wanting a set that can move from simplicity into a more layered harmonic colour without requiring a large collection, Lyra offers a great deal within four bowls.

It is the frosted counterpart to our clear Aluna set.
