E3 – G3 – B3 – D4 – A4

Fluid · Minor · Expansive

Raya begins with an E minor seventh harmony E, G, B and D and adds A above it.

The E–G relationship establishes the minor quality, while B and D complete the E minor seventh chord. A then opens the structure further as an added fourth, or eleventh, giving the harmony a more spacious and modal character.

Compared with Numa's compact D minor triad, Raya has considerably more room and movement built into it. You can create smaller E minor combinations, work with open fifths or gradually let the entire five-note structure emerge as the bowls continue to resonate.

For those naturally drawn to minor harmony but wanting a larger and more expansive palette, Raya offers a beautifully rich alternative.

Each bowl is made to order from 99.9% silica quartz. Raya comes with mallets, silicone rings and cushioned carrier bags and is available in 440 Hz or 432 Hz reference tuning.

Bowl Finishes

  • E Bowl: Clear-white, prismatic glaze

  • G Bowl: Dark orange, prismatic glaze

  • B Bowl: Light orange clear finish

  • D Bowl:Dark red-brown prismatic finish

  • A Bowl: Cherry red matte finish

TUNING

Our bowls are available in two tunings: 440 Hz and 432 Hz.

  • 440 Hz is the standard tuning in Western music, offering a clear, bright tone that aligns easily with other instruments and musical structures. Its precise frequency relationships make it ideal for harmonic layering and group sound work.

  • 432 Hz, slightly lower in pitch, is favored by many for its warmer, more organic resonance. Some musicians and healers consider it more aligned with natural vibrations, including the Earth’s resonance and the body’s energy field. It’s often used in meditative or restorative sessions for its gentle, expansive quality.

Each tuning offers a unique tonal landscape—choose based on the energetic texture and intention you wish to cultivate.

CARE OF YOUR BOWLS

Clear crystal singing bowls are very delicate and should always be handled with care. Be fully present when packing, transporting, or playing them — even light pressure or impact can cause cracks or breakage. Never place mallets, wands, or any other objects inside the bowls, and avoid wearing jewelry, especially necklaces, rings, or bracelets, while playing to prevent accidental contact. Always play on a stable, padded surface with clean, dry hands. After use, gently place the bowls back in their designated bags, store them safely away from pets or busy areas, and never put anything on top of them. Proper care will help preserve their clarity, tone, and energy for years to come.
